John Swabey
John moved to the South-Western part of Germany in 2015, where he founded the club "Süd-Eifel Krocket und Gateball Freunde", a member of the Deutscher Krocket Bund. Previously he founded the Brussels Croquet Club at Genval, and before that he helped found the Swindon Croquet Club and the Cirencester Croquet Club. Also in 2015 he helped found the European Croquet Masters competition (see separate tab), under the governance of the Féderation Européenne de Croquet (FEC) / European Croquet Federation.
John started playing Gateball in 2013. Now in Germany he is working with the 2 existing Gateball clubs (in Wolfsburg and in Düsseldorf) to arrange an intra-German championship, with support from the World Gateball Union (see separate tab).
