Caroline Denny

Caroline lives in Stroud Gloucestshire, UK with her husband Graham, a triathlete. Her 2 sons, now in their mid 20s live abroad. Caroline runs a bed and breakfast business and always has people staying either on business or holiday. Stroud is a popular place to visit with lots going on.
Caroline started playing croquet with her father who took the game up after his retirement, joining Waldron village croquet club. They play socially on the outfield of the cricket wicket. An annual exchange with the French  club in Catenay prompted Caroline to join The Bear of Rodborough croquet club in Stroud to get some practice. There she found a world of matches, leagues, handicaps and tournaments. After a few years of mainly doubles play Caroline started playing singles in tournaments in 2012 and joined Cheltenham club in 2013. That year she won the ladies' "most improved player" and The Latham Cup.
Both Caroline's  parents were born in Belgium and have always encouraged the family to speak French. Caroline hopes to encourage more people to play Association croquet in Belgium. The Brussels club is at Genval in the superb grounds of Chateau du Lac hotel.
