Roberts Stafeckis

 

Roberts started his international career in 1992 by entering the Latvian Foreign Service, posted to the Latvian Embassy in Denmark, and later to the embassy in Germany. He holds a Master degree in International Law & Finance. During his career, he has been responsible for the development of economic relations between Germany and Latvia and more recently has worked on Latvia's economic relations with both China and Italy. He helped to found a Latvian-Chinese Business Council and is presently honorary Vice-Charman of that body. In 2009, after seven years managing the office of what became the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce, he established his private consultancy company AUDENDO, offering services to foreign companies planning to do business in Latvia. He is 48, married with two grown-up daughters. He competes regularly in Latvian croquet tournaments and with his new mallet hopes to rise to a number one ranking
